Top Enterprise Resource Planning Software Companies

Today there are number of ERP companies worldwide providing enterprise resource planning solutions to large, small and mid sized organizations. Today ERP companies are facing tough competition from each other and they constantly strive hard in keeping their product updated with the growing demands and changing market trends. Some top sellers in the market today are SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Infor and Sage, these ERP companies have chunk of market share and come with an enterprise resource planning solution for SME and large organizations.

SAP AG is a German, software development and consulting corporation, providing ERP solutions to businesses of all sizes. SAP's ERP product comes with the name of SAP business suite comprises of 5 different enterprise applications which are customer relationship management, Supply chain management, product life cycle management, supplier relationship management and SAP ECC. This business suite was previously known as SAP R/3. SAP also provides solutions to small and medium size companies by SAP Business one and SAP business all in one. Another product of SAP known as SAP business by design is a SaaS with fully integrated enterprise resource planning solution.

Oracle is best known for its database products but it also provides ERP solution by its Oracle E-business suite. This Product consists of a collection enterprise resource planning applications with customer relationship management and supply chain management either developed by oracle or acquired. Apart from these there are other product lines in Oracle's E-business suite like oracle financials, oracle transport management, oracle warehouse management, mobile supply chain applications, oracle procurement, oracle order management, oracle project portfolio management, oracle inventory, oracle quotes, oracle enterprise asset management and oracle HRMS. Oracle CRM on demand is another product available as SaaS.



Infor is another ERP company that carries more than seventy thousands clients all over the world and is growing at a fast pace. It has software for businesses of all sizes and also provides solution as SaaS. Infor syteline is its product for large enterprises whereas Infor ERP visual has been developed to target small sized companies, Infor has other ERP products like Infor LN for manufacturing companies, Infor Adage for process manufacturing companies. Besides these products Infor has other enterprise applications for managing web store, solutions for distribution companies and applications for companies making footwear and apparels.

The Sage group or popularly known as Sage is involved in development, distribution and services for small and medium sized companies. It has three ERP products Sage ACCPAC, Sage X3 and Sage pro ERP. Sage X3 is a complete integrated ERP application with all necessary modules like CRM, SCM, HRM, advanced BPM and BI included in it. Sage ACCPAC is a window based enterprise resource planning solution capable of running on Linux environment too.

Microsoft under the name of Microsoft Dynamics also provide variety of ERP and CRM applications, though most of the Microsoft enterprise resource planning products are acquired and an effort has been going on for a long time to merge these products into one ERP solution. Microsoft Dynamics SL, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft dynamics CRM are Microsoft's enterprise solutions. These products work with ease with other Microsoft products to give users a smooth functioning of ERP and require less customization.
